Mayday 2011 - The West Sussex Mini Owners Club (www.wsmoc.com) came to stay as usual. Whilst enjoying themselves at the The Mini World Riviera Run World Riviera Run (near Newquayin Cornwall) (www.rivierarun.co.uk) they simply choose to stay somehwere slightly quieter to enjoy their leisure hours. The Mayday weekend always seems to bring good weather - or does it come with them

What did the AA camping inspectors say ?

As part of our annual inspection (at which we again acheived 4 pennants and increased our 'scores') the inspector commented ""I received a very friendly welcome at Reception, before I carried out my inspection. This is a 7-acre site set on one side of a valley, with views to the other side over beautiful trees. There are 34 statics, which are well positioned so as not to obscure the view, and the touring field had a great location at the bottom of the site. The toilets/showers are very modern and spotlessly clean, as is the dishwashing area and laundry. There is a fantastic Information Room in the form of a wooden summerhouse, with every piece of information needed. For the children there is a top class playground with a newly installed play train and towers, in addition to all the usual equipment, and a lovely TV room with large screen TV. Much thought and a lot of hard work has been put into this site, even down to a campers’ kitchen with microwave etc, a library and Internet access is also available. The grasses and trees were beautifully trimmed, and all in all I enjoyed my walk around this lovely site. Well done to Stephen & Helen.""
